The Argentine striker scored twice to fire his side to an emphatic win on Monday night.

Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez led a rampage in Monday night's Europa League semi-finals as Inter Milan run away with a massive win over Shakhtar Donetsk. The 22-year-old attacker scored twice to put the Nerazzurri clear and on course for a crunchy final with Sevilla.

What turned out to be a dominant display by the Italians was ushered into being after Martinez opened the scoring in the 19th minute. It was Nicolo Barella's cross that was headed home by the ex-Racing Club star after Shaktar's goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov had misplaced a pass into the path of the Italian midfielder.

With the first half producing just a goal, Danilo D'Ambrosio doubled Inter's advantage with another headed goal in the 64th minute. Exactly 10 minutes later, Lautaro Martinez sprang up again to score his 20th goal of the season, having previously had an audacious chip attempt from about 40 yards chip flicked over by Pyatov.
