This weekend's batch of games will feature contenders against teams who are eager to make an impression. Missing some of those matches would be a bad idea!

The Guard1anes 2021 tournament is already defining the names of the teams that can be considered title contenders, and this week's games will surely keep fans glued to their seats.

The only game that will not be played will be the one between Juárez and Tigres, who will be playing for a spot in the 2021 FIFA Club World Cup final on Sunday. There will be something special about every match being played this weekend, but first, let's have a look at how Liga MX will be presenting the games to us starting on Thursday.

Two games on Thursday will kick off Matchday 5, where we should really put attention to the game between Atlético San Luis and Tijuana. On Friday, the clash between Necaxa and Cruz Azul will be a must-watch, while the action-packed Saturday will give us three games to witness. Out of those, América facing Puebla and Monterrey against Pumas will be the highlights of the weekend, especially since all four teams were involved in the last liguilla, and all of them have a chance of fighting for the trophy once more.

Last, but not least, Mazatlán's visit to Toluca will be interesting to see, while Monday's game between León and Guadalajara will re-ignite their rivalry, which saw Los Panzas Verdes eliminating El Rebaño in the Guard1anes 2020 semi-finals.
