The Gunners are apparently the latest in a crop of European sides reportedly interested in signing the 21-year-old Serbian international.

Dusan Vlahovic probably isn't a name that is very familiar to most people who don't watch Serie A, and even for those who do tune in calcio, his name might not necessarily ring a bell right away - unless if one is a serious follower of Italian football (or a Fiorentina fan).

However, the 21-year-old Serbian international has clearly done his part to catch the eye of some of Europe's biggest sides with his performances for the Viola this season. Although the Tuscan outfit have spent much of the current campaign languishing in the bottom half of the table, Vlahovic has been quite impressive, with 12 goals and two assists so far as he valiantly tries to keep his side from what would be a rather demoralizing demotion to Serie B.

His efforts haven't gone unnoticed. In addition to fellow Serie A sides like Roma and AC Milan, ambitious Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are also reportedly tracking his progress, as well as current La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid. If reports from Italy are to be believed, London giants Tottenham and Arsenal now have also thrown their hats into the ring as well, meaning that there are six teams from four of Europe's "Big Five" leagues all hoping to sign Vlahovic once the summer transfer window opens in a few months.

Fiorentina, who have seen several of their key players depart in recent seasons, could have a battle on their hands to keep the young Serb at the Stadio Artemio Franchi if these rumors are more than just mere speculation and any of these teams, including some of their rivals in Italy, come circling. After all, the Gigliati won't be playing in Europe next term, and many of these other teams can give Vlahovic an opportunity to feature in at least the Europa League - and in some cases, the Champions League for the 2021/2022 season.

And certainly, that's not something the young starlet would want to miss out on if given the chance.
