The Brazilian's matrimonial partner launched a scathing critique of the Chelsea striker after the German's lackluster display in Madrid.

Isabele Silva, the wife of Chelsea center-back Thiago Silva, has taken to social media in the aftermath of their 1-1 draw with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, brutally criticizing Timo Werner after yet another lackluster display from the German.

The Blues took on Los Blancos on Tuesday in the first leg of their semi-final battle, making the trip to the Stadio Alfredo Di Stefano for the midweek battle. The game ended in a stalemate but it was the Blues that came away with their heads held high, grabbing a crucial away goal ahead of the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge.

Christian Pulisic broke the deadlock in the first half, scoring a brilliant goal past Thibaut Courtois after a dominant start to the game. The host equalized before the break courtesy of a brilliantly taken Karim Benzema goal, but it was Tuchel's side who put on the impressive display as they attacked the opposition with more speed and urgency.

While it's advantage Chelsea, there were a few negatives from the visitors' performance, one being Timo Werner's display. The marquee summer signing was once again missing and when an excellent, one-on-one opportunity fell to his feet in the ninth minute, the former RB Leipzig star could not beat Courtois from six yards out, shooting straight at the keeper.

This sparked a passionate rant from Silva's wife who took to Instagram story to blast Werner's wastefulness, saying: "This is karma, guys. Every team I go to there is a striker who keeps missing goals… this Werner, what is his name?"

The German failed to make much of the opportunities he had, which proved costly, as the London giants could have come away from Madrid with a win. Isabele argued this point in a second video, saying: "We need a goal, we need to win this match but my attackers don't want to score, I don't know why they don't score."

Thiago's matrimonial partner is no stranger to this, having publicly criticized Liverpool defender Andy Robertson while trolling Tottenham for having "no trophies". As for Timo, it will be interesting to see whether these comments could strain his relationship with the Brazilian veteran.

The German, however, is unlikely to get distracted by this as he has publicly admitted to struggling at Stamford Bridge and promising to work hard to prove his worth. He recently scored the crucial winning goal in the 1-0 victory over West Ham and will be keen on making amends for his UCL 1st leg display when Zidane's men visit England.
