  • The 2-1 loss to Chelsea was the fourth consecutive top-flight game in which they conceded 2+ goals at home, the first time this has occurred since December 1978.

  • Bruno Fernandes took his goalscoring tally for Man United to 27 for this season, equaling the record for most goals by a Premier League midfielder in a single season set by Frank Lampard in 2009-10 (27).

  • Bruno's spot-kick vs Aston Villa was the 113th penalty taken this season, the most in a single Premier League campaign, surpassing the previous record of 112 set in 2006-07.

  • West Brom's 3-1 loss at Arsenal confirmed their Premier League drop. This means the Hawthorns are the English club with the second-most EPL relegations (11), sitting behind only Birmingham (12).

  • Liverpool's 2-0 win over Southampton saw Mohamed Salah assist Sadio Mane for the opening goal. Despite being part of one of England's best attacking trios, this is the first time the pair have combined for a Premier League goal since June 2020.

Top upcoming matches to watch in the EPL

Manchester United vs Leicester City: After yet another defeat, Leicester are facing a fight to hold onto their top-four spot. A trip to Old Trafford could result in a third consecutive winless outing, and given that fifth-placed West Ham are only five points behind, failure to triumph could be costly.

Chelsea vs Arsenal: The last time these two sides faced off, Arsenal won 3-1, but since then, their fortunes have completely shifted. Chelsea are currently third in the table and are through to the FA Cup final and Champions League final. The Gunners, meanwhile, are out of the Europa League and appear destined to miss out on Europe. Victory at the Bridge could salvage some pride for the north London giants.

Manchester United vs Liverpool: This postponed fixture will go ahead on Thursday as the Red Devils look to get the better of their bitter rivals. Liverpool have not enjoyed the best of season and with Klopp's men fighting to overcome the six-point deficit over fourth-placed Leicester, Salah and Co. cannot accept anything less than a win at Old Trafford.
