The fiery interview by the Portuguese ace could be behind this move by the club's board.

The highly publicized interview Cristiano Ronaldo gave to Piers Morgan keeps making waves among Manchester United fans and, apparently, the team's hierarchy, who have remained mute about their next steps regarding their relationship with the Portuguese ace.

While there has been no formal statement on Cristiano Ronaldo's words after the brief press release issued on Monday, the team has decided to remove the player's image that sits on Old Trafford's outside wall.

Earlier today, footage taken outside the legendary stadium showed a crew removing a billboard that featured the Portuguese star, who blasted the team for their "lack of support" and for "betraying" him with their recent actions and their refusal to let him leave during the offseason.

Here is the moment when the crew hired by the Red Devils removed CR7's image from the stadium in anticipation to the revelation of his full interview with Morgan tonight.
