The French ace has not been able to train properly with Les Bleus since the team left France, and the recent diagnosis is not as flattering as expected.

Once again, it will be bad news for France ahead of their debut in the FIFA World Cup, as the French side will have to make do without none other than Karim Benzema.

The Real Madrid player has been ruled out from the first game of the competition due to a muscular problem to his left leg, and even if he tried to train with the team during Saturday's session, the team's medical staff decided he was not fit to do so.

The initial decision by Didier Deschamps' staff saw the player being ruled out of the game against Australia, but according to a report by L'Equipe, Benzema could be out for the entire World Cup due to this muscular issue.

The striker had been banned from the national team for quite a while and ended up missing the team's run to win the 2018 World Cup title, and he is expected to have a major role in France's attempts to go all the way this year. Nevertheless, it seems that the footballer will not be able to help his national team after this problem has not been sorted out.

Update: Benzema set to leave French National Team due to thigh injury.

The worst fears have been confirmed for fans of the 2022 Ballon D'Or winner, as the French National Team has revealed that Benzema will not play in the FIFA World Cup after he was unable to recover from a muscular complaint.

While there is no indication yet on who could take his place in the team's squad, France, will surely replace Benzema after this complicated situation for the footballer.
