After his exit from the FIFA World Cup, the footballer is keen on keeping himself fit while he finds a new team to play for.

Cristiano Ronaldo is back where he belongs...at least for the next few weeks.

The Portuguese footballer was spotted training alongside Cristiano Jr. at Real Madrid's training complex at Valdebebas, although he did so away from the first team. According to Spanish media outlet Relevo, the player had no contact whatsoever with some of his former teammates. Nevertheless, some of Los Blancos' academy footballers were able to have their picture taken with the club's all-time top scorer.

Cristiano Ronaldo was able to use this pitch after clearing the air with president Florentino Pérez, who had a complicated relationship with the player when he decided to leave Los Blancos back in 2018. Nevertheless, the president has spoken highly of CR7 in recent interviews, which means that everything that was discussed back then is now water under the bridge.

Now, fans who wish Cristiano to make a shocking comeback to the Spanish giants might have to wait a bit, as there is no intention from any of the parties involved to see the Portuguese star back with the team at the moment.

CR7's agreement to use the team's training facilities is seen as a favor until he can find a new team. Meanwhile, the team's all-time top scorer will be able to train there with his son and with the help of a personal physician.

Cristiano Ronaldo agreed to terminate his contract at Manchester United after an explosive interview where he told Piers Morgan he felt "unappreciated and disrespected" by Manchester United and coach Erik Ten Hag. The player tried to dazzle the world in the FIFA World Cup so he could increase his chances to find a new team, but he was only able to score one goal and saw his World Cup dreams coming to an end last Saturday, as A Seleçao crashed out of the tournament against Morocco.
