The feat is no fluke but is as a result of the new leadership spearheaded by former Anderlecht boss Vincent Kompany.
So far, the Clarets have secured 47 points from their first 23 matches, and are six points clear of second-placed Sheffield United. In the EFL Cup, they have had to win two games to reach this stage, beating Shrewsbury Town 1-0 in August before defeating Crawley Town 3-1 last time out.

Other World Cup stars including Marcus Rashford, Antony, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Harry Maguire, and Fred have all returned to training and could be handed a starting berth.
For Burnley, Scott Twine sustained up an injury while featuring as a late substitute against Middlesbrough and, as a result, will not be available for selection at Old Trafford. Connor Roberts was also sent off in the same game, meaning that he is not eligible to feature in the upcoming game.
