The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is in search of a new club. However, the only concrete offer for the Portuguese icon looks to be from Saudi Arabia.

Cristiano Ronaldo remains without a club, but according to the latest rumors coming out of Spain, this won't be true for long.

The 37-year-old is in search of a new team after his unceremonious exit from Manchester United, with the club and player mutually agreeing to a contract termination following his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan.

However, any hope of moving to a top European side was dashed by the player's FIFA World Cup campaign. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner started all three group stage games for Portugal but scored only once courtesy of a penalty and was poor for his country.

And in the knockout stage, the former Real Madrid star was dropped in favor of Goncalo Ramos, who scored a hat-trick in the round of 16 thrashing of Switzerland. This means CR7 was unable to attract huge clubs with his displays at Qatar 2022, leaving Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr as the only concrete offer.

And according to Marca, Ronaldo has decided to commit to the aforementioned Middle Eastern side. The contract on offer runs until 2030 but only two-and-a-half years of that deal would see him play in the Saudi Pro League.

After that, the player would assume an ambassador role for the country's attempt to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup. Al-Nassr are even ready to drop three players in order to afford the iconic forward. However, it should be clarified that the 200 million euros ($212M) annual wage package is inaccurate as that's what Cristiano will earn over the two-and-a-half-year duration.

There are some news outlets and journalists that dispute this story. Nonetheless, Ronaldo's time in Europe sadly looks to be ending.
