The Dutch boss wants to add more firepower to his team in months to come, which may see some stellar names leaving the club this summer.

Manchester United may be involved in a tough race to finish among the top four in the Premier League, but their coach is seemingly thinking about the next season and which players he wants to keep around.

According to a report by The Mirror, coach Erik Ten Hag is already planning ahead for the summer, with the Dutch boss ready to offload as many as nine of the team's players to fund other moves prior to the start of the 2023-24 season.

The English media outlet has named a list of footballers that have been involved to a certain degree in the team's performance this season, while also including others that went out on loan or have been deemed as surplus to the team's requirements.

The name that stands out the most is that of Harry Maguire. The former captain has fallen down the pecking order under Ten Hag, and his exit from the club seems to be a matter of time. Maguire has been linked to West Ham and Inter Milan, but both of those would be on loan and the coach would like to let the player leave for good during the summer.

Another player that stands out on this list is Victor Lindelof. The Swedish defender has only started four games for the Red Devils, and with his contract ending in 2024, the club is ready to cash in on him.

The next name on this list is that of Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The right-back was also linked to a move back to Crystal Palace this winter, but Diogo Dalot's injury has given him a chance to earn first-team minutes. Ten Hag wants to hire a player with different skills for that side of his defense, and his performances during these months could help the team increase his value.

Next up, striker Anthony Martial could be living his final months at Old Trafford. The striker has dealt with quite a few injuries, which have hindered his chances of playing and placed a dent on his transfer value, but with 18 months left in his deal, Manchester United are ready to let him leave in order to raise funds to hire a healthy striker.

The next player on this list is one of the hottest prospects for the Red Devils: Anthony Elanga. The winger seems to have more minutes under his belt for Manchester United, but bids by Everton and other clubs during this transfer window were hard to turn down. Given his skills and youth, Elanga could be a good option for several teams, which may end up to increase his value.

The rest of the footballers that have been identified as potential moves away from Old Trafford include Eric Bailly, Dean Henderson, Alex Telles, and Brandon Williams, with only the latter being part of Manchester United's squad. Bailly, Henderson, and Telles were loaned prior to the start of this season, and their moves away from the club could be made permanent if the right deal comes for each of them.
