The German boss looked into some controversial issues, such as his potential departure and transfer activity for next summer.

It has not been the best of seasons for Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp, and while the German manager is still trying to turn things around, the expectations to see the club adding talent for next year have already begun.

With that in mind, names like those of Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé have started to fly around Anfield as options for the Reds to hire. Nevertheless, the club's hierarchy has already put to rest a possible move for the English midfielder, something that placed Klopp's place as coach in jeopardy.

Speaking of which, Klopp shared his insights on what could happen this offseason in terms of signings for Liverpool, Klopp denied agreeing with his employers with some of their decisions, but he has choosen not to put his job at stake for a furious reaction or a disagreement.

"What you want to know is as I sit here, am I angry that we can't do this or that. No I am not. I am not, I don't agree all the time with everything we do…but I am employed here. I am not here to be angry about things that will work out or not. If I am angry we don't all of a sudden have more money, or the resources to do everything. So it's rubbish, I'm too much of a professional," Klopp stated.

Then, he spoke of the possibility of leaving the club if Jude Bellingham did not sign a deal to join Liverpool.

"But this is my club. Nothing. You want to suggest I quit here and wait for the next top job? Really? This is my club," Klopp added.

The German boss admitted that, even if it could get frustrating for him at times, he has to do what is best for the team in terms of who to sign, so that the club does not end a transfer window empty-handed or with only one signing when they need reinforcements in practically every place on the pitch.

"The budget is important and then timing is important, knowing when things can happen is important. Guarantees are important, if we go for it, whether will we get it is important. If you put too much focus on something you only might get, all the rest of the market could be gone," Klopp said.

Before the press conference ended, Klopp hinted how Liverpool must be smart on where they place their efforts to add talent to the team, especially since his staff has already identified many options that could boost the team in the future.

"It is a heated thing, but now we see, there are 12 midfielders we could sign. There are a lot of good players out there, honestly, yeah a lot of good players - and we are interested in all good players, and some of them will end up here," Klopp concluded.
