The English international has made a u-turn in his initial decision to stay put with the Red Devils despite his lack of playing time.

At long last, it seems that Harry Maguire has admitted that his prospects to thrive at Manchester United are not good, and he has told his relatives and agents he will be seeking pastures new this summer.

In an article published by the Mirror, the English media outlet suggests that the footballer will part ways with the club in friendly terms next summer, even if the club has to take a loss for the high amount they paid for his services a while back.

According to the article, Maguire has realized that he could be risking his spot with the English national team if he decides to stay with the Red Devils, where he has taken abuse by fans and experts for his poor performances this season despite only starting seven Premier League matches.

Maguire's deal with Manchester United goes on for the next two seasons, which will necessarily mean that there will be a negotiation between any team interested in hiring him and the English side.

Maguire was sought out by West Ham in the January transfer window, but both the club and the player ruled out a move. Now, it seems that the Hammers have other things to think about since they are facing relegation right in the eyes. With this in mind, Maguire may be inclined to leave England to play elsewhere, with Inter and Roma being potential landing spots for the English center back.
