The numbers for the most watched soccer games in the USA on July 10 through July 16 are here, and to little surprise, the CONCACAF Gold Cup stole the show once again. In fact, it was another brilliant week for Univision as the popular Spanish-language network earned the top three spots on this list.
The undisputed winner in the battle for ratings and views was the Gold Cup final, with Mexico's crucial 1-0 win over Panama garnering a whopping 4.3 million average viewers to watch Santiago Giménez's 88th-minute winning goal seal the title.
The tournament's semifinal games grabbed the other two spots, with Mexico's 3-0 victory over Jamaica coming in at second with just under 2.8 million average viewers. Meanwhile, the USA's semifinal defeat to runners-up Panama on penalties ranked third on this list with an average viewership of roughly 1.9 million.
