The start of the 2023-24 season is just around the corner for La Liga, and ESPN has already announced how they plan to cover the competition during its first four days of action.
The network will use all its resources to provide a thorough coverage of one of the most relevant leagues in the world, where Barcelona will try to hold on to the title after beating Atlético and Real Madrid to it last season.
The 93rd season in La Liga will be covered by ABC and ESPN platforms in both English and Spanish language, with all 380 matches being covered on ESPN+ and with ESPN Deportes ready to simulcast all ten matches each weekend.
The first big game of the season between Athletic Club and Real Madrid will be aired by ABC, making it the third year in a row in which a major U.S. broadcast TV network covers the start of La Liga. The match will be held at San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao at 3:30 p.m. ET (coverage will start with a 30-minute preview) and will also be covered on ESPN Deportes and on ESPN´+, with Spanish and English coverage available on the streaming service.
Added to their live game coverage, the network will also include La Liga content in most of its signature shows, including ESPN FC, Futbol Américas, SportsCenter, Fútbol Picante, Cronómetro, and more.
