The Argentine ace spoke about his new life and how it his current moment is far better than what he experienced back in Europe.

The last four weeks have been a roller-coaster ride for Lionel Messi, and two days before one more title match in his career, the footballer decided to share part of his experience with Inter Miami while comparing it to what he lived in his previous clubs.

Speaking in his first press conference since he joined the Herons, "La Pulga" aimed a dig at PSG, explaining the reasons why he left and how he was not happy during his time in France.

"After having two complicated years, I can tell you we are very happy here. Not just because of what happens on the pitch, but also because of how our lifestyle has changed and how we hang around. The last two years we did not have a good time. I did not plan to join Paris, it was not something I was looking for," Messi said.

Then, the footballer admitted that leaving Barcelona was a huge shock both on the professional and the personal side.

"I never wanted to leave Barcelona. It was something that had to be decided overnight, which made everything very difficult for us. It was the exact opposite of what we are going through here. This was something we discussed for a very long time," the footballer added.

Speaking about the chance of giving Inter Miami their first title in history, Messi spoke wonders of life as a Major League Soccer player and just how interesting it would be to win the tournament this Saturday.

"It would be amazing for me, for all the fans, and for the club itself, because they are betting on us to keep growing. Winning titles helps you cement your legacy, and it is lovely to see how Inter fans packed the stadium every time to be with us. This is a relatively new club and winning our first championship would be wonderful for everyone," Messi concluded.
