It has been nine months since the end of the 2022 World Cup, and there are regions in the world that will already kick their World Cup Qualifiers for the next edition.
CONMEBOL will be the region where all ten national teams will start bidding for a spot in the competition set to be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, and fans in the U.S. will be able to follow the majority of those fixtures thanks to the agreement between football's governing body in South America and Fanatiz.
The streaming platform will offer different options to follow the games from CONMEBOL's qualifying process, including home games for seven of the ten national teams from that region. The teams Fanatiz will cover when playing at home are: Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Perú, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
Users will be able to choose different bundles to watch games. Those with access to the platform can choose to follow one game, a bundle of two games featuring a specific national team, or they can keep track of all the games with a full subscription to these matches.
To make things even more appealing, Fanatiz will offer fans in the U.S. the option to follow these games with stadium sound or with commentary in English or Spanish languages. Additionally, each game will include a seven-day Video-On-Demand feature to allow fans to watch the fixtures as many times as they like during that period.
Fanatiz confirms its commitment to South American football with this deal, having signed an agreement with CONMEBOL that includes coverage of their top club competitions, such as the Copa Libertadores, the Copa Sudamericana, and games for domestic leagues such as the Argentina Primera División, the Brasileirao, the Peruvian Liga 1, and the Uruguayan Primera División, among others.
Editor's note: CONMEBOL gave each national team the right to negotiate their broadcast agreement, meaning that Argentina, Brazil, and Bolivia's home games could still be included in Fanatiz's platform.
