The Euro 2024 qualifiers are back, with the Netherlands, one of many European powerhouses yet to hit their stride, taking on Greece in Group B. The Philips Stadion will be the venue for this 2:45 p.m. ET showdown as the Dutch look to get their second win of the campaign.

While Oranje made it to the round of 16 in the most recent edition of the European Champions, Euro 2020, the continental giants failed to qualify for this tournament in 2016 and will not wish to suffer a similar fate in 2024.

Since crashing out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on penalties in the quarterfinal clash with Argentina, the Netherlands have struggled to deliver results. Louis van Gaal oversaw their participation at Qatar 2022 but left after their exit, with Ronald Koeman, his replacement, disappointing so far in his second spell as national team manager.

Since taking over, Koeman has overseen three defeats in four games, two of which came in back-to-back games. The first was a 4-0 loss to France in their first Euro 2024 qualifier before suffering defeats to Croatia and Italy in consecutive UEFA Nations League fixtures.

There was a 3-0 triumph over Gibraltar, which is Oranje's only win so far in the qualifiers, leaving them in fourth with only three points. However, two things need to be pointed out as it is not all doom and gloom despite the doubts surrounding Koeman's future.

First of all, the Dutch have played only two games — third-placed Ireland and second-placed Greece have played three while France have four matches under their belt. Furthermore, Van Dijk and Co. can still make the playoffs via their UEFA Nations League performance should they fail to make it through the qualifiers. Nonetheless, this is not ideal for a team looking to win next year's competition.

Greece, meanwhile, failed to qualify for the last two editions of the European Championship and will look to feature in this tournament for the first time since their run to the quarterfinals in 2012.

As mentioned earlier, Piratiko have played three games, winning two and losing only once. To no one's surprise, that defeat came against France, but the Euro 2004 champions only lost by a goal to nil.

Furthermore, Gus Poyet's men have won eight of their last 15 outings, and while several of those victories came against minnows, this form should give them the confidence to get a result against the Netherlands.
