Germany will arguably still be reeling following their shocking 4-1 defeat to Japan last week. Of their friendlies played since their embarrassing exit from the World Cup last year, Germany have won just one, while losing to Japan, Belgium, Poland, and Colombia and failing to beat a Ukraine side who have had to more to contend with besides football as of late.
As such, the hosts will face a tall task when familiar foes France come to town on Tuesday. Les Bleus have been in excellent form since their disappointing loss in last year's World Cup and having won all five of their EURO 2024 qualifying games are looking set to be one of the first teams to book their ticket for next year's event. Didier Deschamps's men are just one of a few teams still to boast a perfect winning record from EURO qualifiers, and will definitely fancy their chances at extending their unbeaten run against a Germany side who are in total disarray.
Indeed, France are unbeaten in their last six meetings with Germany, with their last failure taking place during the 2014 World Cup that ultimately Germany went on to win. Barring some surprising turn of events, it's safe to say that many will assume that the visitors should be able to pick up a relatively comfortable win and heap more misery on their struggling hosts.
