The Egyptian ace had a hand in all three goals as Klopp's men fought back from 1-0 down to win an away game for the second match in a row.

Liverpool traveled to Wolves in Saturday's early kick-off in what was the first Premier League game of Matchweek 5 following the September international break.

The Reds, who were without Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold due to suspension and injury respectively, were exceptionally poor in the first half and were fortunate to enter the break only 1-0 down.

However, in Mohamed Salah, Jurgen Klopp boasts one of the best attackers in world football and the Egyptian ace showed just that by inspiring the Merseyside giants to a brilliant comeback victory.

While the 31-year-old did not get on the scoresheet, he had a hand in all three goals as Klopp's men went on to win 3-1 — Salah, however, was only awarded two assists on paper.

The winger teed up Cody Gakpo for the equalizer before assisting Andy Robertson for the winner. The Egyptian set up Harvey Elliot for the third but that goal went down as an own goal thanks to a deflection from Hugo Bueno, thus denying Mohammed his hat-trick of assists.

Nonetheless, the Anfield icon still managed to make history as he became the African player with the most assists in Premier League history following this feat. The former Roma ace took his tally to 63 and given how well he has started the campaign, expect Salah to add several more to his belt this season.

That win helped Jurgen Klopp's men pick up their fourth victory of the English top-flight campaign, having won every game since their 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on the opening day of the season. However, there were still issues with Liverpool's performance that need improving ahead of next weekend's tricky clash with West Ham.
