The English footballer stepped up when Los Merengues seemed destined to draw their first game of this Champions League season.

Real Madrid's start of the season would be quite different if they had not signed Jude Bellingham, as the Englishman delivered once more for the Spanish giants in the dying seconds of a match.

The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder, who joined Los Merengues on a record fee earlier this year, tapped in the game-winning goal for Ancelotti's team against a tough Union Berlin side. Bellingham and teammate Joselu carried the team's weight all day long, and in the most unlikely of plays, the English midfielder scored the winner for the most winning team in the continental tournament.

Bellingham quite a bit of luck in this final offensive effort of the evening, as the shot by Fede Valverde found his way to the midfielder after hitting two Union Berlin footballers. Once the ball got to him, Bellingham turned around to score with an open net.

This was quite a special goal for the English footballer, as he matched a record only one of his countrymen had been able to do while wearing Real Madrid's jersey.

The midfielder also managed to join an elite list of footballers who have done the same for Los Blancos in recent times.
