The Serie A champions shockingly posted two videos mocking the Nigerian star on their official TikTok page, sparking anger from their talisman.

Victor Osimhen is being linked with an exciting move to the Premier League following an ugly and utterly shameful fallout with Napoli, with the Nigerian sensation threatening to take legal action against his current employers.

The 24-year-old already has four goal contributions in his first six outings for the Serie A champions after leading the club to their first Scudetto in 33 years last season but has shockingly undergone horrible treatment at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium following his penalty miss in the 0-0 draw away to Bologna.

That match saw the former Lille ace miss a penalty before being subbed off by newly-appointed Rudi Garcia, which did not go down well with the player. However, things took a turn for the worse when Gli Azzurri posted two videos mocking their talisman on their official TikTok account.

One of those TikToks mocked Osimhen over his penalty miss while the other likened the Super Eagles sensation to a coconut, with some blasting the club due to perceived racial connotations. The player was enraged by this, with his agent releasing a public statement and stating that legal action could be taken against the Italian giants.

"What happened today on Napoli's official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted," Roberto Calenda, the striker's agent, said on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Tuesday.

"(It is) A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news.

"We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor."

And to no one's surprise, transfer rumors regarding Osimhen began doing the rounds. According to the Daily Mirror, Victor, whose current deal ends in 2025, has put Premier League clubs on alert following this fallout.

While the report does not name particular teams, he has admirers at Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal. The Gunners and fellow London giants Chelsea are two English sides in desperate need of a clinical striker and with the two being linked to Brentford's Ivan Toney, it would not be a surprise to see links to the Nigerian emerge soon.

Osimhen was subject to interest from Bayern Munich, Newcastle, and the Saudi Pro League. However, the player opted to remain in Naples. This incident could change his plans, however, with the forward deleting almost every picture of him in a Napoli shirt from his Instagram account.

The 24-year-old was called up for duty in Wednesday's Serie A clash with Udinese, with the reigning champions winning 4-1 at home. Osimhen got on the scoresheet, scoring his team's second goal of the day to earn his side only their third win of the Italian top-flight campaign.
