The latest installment of the famed Derby della Capitale will get underway on Sunday, November 12th.

Both Lazio and Roma will be desperate to start closing ground on the top teams when the two sides meet up for the 159th installment of the Derby della Capitale on Sunday. Although the Aquile have won three of their last five games, they still sit in tenth spot, while the Giallorossi have won four of their last five and sit in seventh.

Lazio did enjoy success in European action midweek thanks to a solitary goal from Ciro Immobile to beat Feyenoord 1-0. However, they were surprisingly beaten by Bologna in their last Serie A game and they will really be hoping to avoid a loss in this upcoming game - should the Aquile end up on the wrong end of the score line, it will make it six losses from their first 12 games. At the moment, however, Lazio are just one point behind bitter rivals Roma, meaning that should they make it a third consecutive win over their cross-town opponents, Maurizio Sarri's men could jump into the top half of the table ahead of the international hiatus.

Meanwhile, Roma have started to work their way up the table after a poor start to the season. The Lupi come into this match having won four of their last five games and will be keen on avoiding what would be a third consecutive loss to Lazio in Sunday's match. Jose Mourinho also will have his reasons for turning the tide, as he has lost three of his last four meetings against Sarri in Serie A. The Portuguese tactician saw his team surprisingly lose to Slavia Prague in their Europa League match on Thursday, and as such, will be even more determined to see his players rebound to avoid heading into the international hiatus on a foul note.
