Narrated and executive produced by Trevor Noah, the five-part footballing docuseries is set to drop on December 1st.

Fans could be in for a real treat next month - and not just because Christmas is just around the corner.

On December 1st, Showtime Sports will be dropping a new documentary titled "The World According to Football". Narrated and executive produced by Trevor Noah, the five-part series travels through five different countries - the USA, the UK, Brazil, France and Qatar. The focus will be on how key issues, such as mental health, racism, women's rights, socio-economic inequality, nationalism, and labor rights are addressed by both fans and soccer teams in those five nations.

The first episode kicks off on Friday, December 1st at 8 pm EST (5 pm PST), and the series will run for five weeks, with one episode happening each week. Viewers can live-stream the opening episode plus the entire series on Paramount+ if they have subcribed to SHOWTIME.

Other collaborators on this upcoming series include Gotham Chopra, who produced it through his production company Religion of Sports alongside with Mainstay Entertainment and Day Zero Productions.
