The agreement aims to make this competition the most widely available professional league in the United States.

Once again, ESPN and the United Soccer League will team up for more action on the network's programming by extending their relationship for the 2024 season.

The deal, which will include the largest coverage for this league on ESPN's platforms, will also include the recently created USL League One championship, with a new format and different tiebreakers to make the competition more interesting.

This agreement will complete the USL's media package for the 2024 season. The package will also include other local and national television networks. The USL will be airing 35 games on national TV between CBS and ESPN, which will increase from just nine in 2023.

Court Jeske, the league's Chief Commercial Officer shared his views on this extended deal.

"As we enter a new era for the USL with the 2026 World Cup approaching, our focus is to provide fans with more ways to watch than ever before and be the most widely available soccer league in our country. We have enjoyed a longstanding relationship with ESPN during which the USL has grown significantly, and we are incredibly excited to continue this relationship," the exec stated.

The 2024 USL season will include two new teams: Rhode Island FC, which will play in the USL Championship, and Spokane Velocity FC, who are set to join the USL League One.

The full broadcast schedule for this league will be released in coming days. Meanwhile, visit our USL Championship website and our USL League One site for the full list of teams and upcoming fixtures.
