After matching Ian Rush and Steven Gerard's Champions League goalscoring record, Mohamed Salah has yet again entered the Premier League's record books with teammate Sadio Mane also doing same for their respective contribution in Saturday's win over Crystal Palace. The pair were on target as Liverpool hit Crystal Palace for three to climb to the top of the league table.

His feat was complimented by Mohamed Salah in the 78th minute with the Egyptian finding the back of the net with a superb volley from a Virgil van Dijk set piece. With the goal, the 29-year-old Egyptian has surpassed Mattew Le Tissier to occupy the 29th position on the all-time goalscorer's chart. He is now just Mo Salah is just three goals away from overtaking Didier Drogba as the highest scoring African player in Premier League history.

In the end, Naby Keita provided the finishing gloss for the Jurgen Klopp's side for his first goal of the season. So far, the Anfield outfit have managed 13 points from a possible 15 and are among the only three teams that are unbeaten in the Premier League so far.
