Gladbach earned their first win in the Europa League on Match-day Three against Marseille. The two teams will square off again in France.

Gladbach meanwhile drew 1-1 against Freiburg. Igor De Camargo scored early on in the second half but saw his goal cancelled out by a late penalty from Daniel Caligiuri. Gladbach sits in eleventh spot in the Bundesliga with 13 points after ten games.

“Of course you need talented young players but you also need experience.” He is obviously an extremely experience player. They are helping the new players settle in following the departures of Marco Reus, Roman Neustadter and Dante Bonfim.

“We have a lot of gifted young players and it’s really good for them to be able to play in the Europa League and get this experience.”
