Sancho, Martial, and Rashford combined to score a beautiful goal against Vieira's side en route to a 3-1 victory in Melbourne.

Manchester United took to the field once again today and the Red Devils continued their brilliant pre-season streak under new manager Erik ten Hag.

After beating Liverpool 4-0 and overcoming Melbourne Victory 4-1, the English giants faced a familiar foe in Crystal Palace in Australia. The 20-time top-flight champions aimed to maintain their winning run, naming a strong lineup in the first half, with the likes of Sancho, Rashford, Martial, Bruno, and McTominay all starting.

And once again, Fernandes and Co. marched to victory, this time triumphing via a 3-1 score line over the Eagles. Anthony Martial continued his sizzling hot pre-season form, breaking the deadlock after only 17 minutes after receiving a lovely cross from Diogo Dalot.

Fans had to wait until early on in the second half for the next goal but it was worth the wait as Rashford, Sancho, Martial, and the forgotten man Van de Beek all combined for a brilliant team goal.  This came courtesy of a lethal counter attack which saw the aforementioned Dutchman set up Marcus on a silver platter to find the back of the net. Check it out in the video below.

While Patrick Vieira did not name the best of lineups, Manchester United's performance was still an optimistic display, with Ten Hag's players showing better understanding of his demands and style of play. Unfortunately for the Red Devils, they could not maintain a clean sheet, conceding to Joel Ward, while youngster Will Fish was sent off late in the game.
