Robert Lewandowski registered his first official goal for Barcelona by hitting the opener in Sunday's clash with Real Sociedad. On the day of his 34th birthday, Rthe Polish striker needed just 46 seconds to register his first La Liga goal for the Catalans inside Reale Arena.

Following their disappointing 0-0 draw against Rayo Vallecano in their season opener, Barca had a very bright start in their trip to the Basque club and were duly rewarded in no time. La Masia graduate Alejandro Balde was the man to set up Lewandowski, with the former Bayern Munich striker losing the defenders of Real Sociedad around their penalty box and redirecting home the low cross from his side's full-back.
