The Spaniard was one of the best players against Die Roten, but he could not cap his performance with what seemed to be an easy chance.

Bayern continued with their dominance over Barcelona in UEFA Champions League games, and judging by what happened on the pitch, things could have gone differently for the Blaugrana side if their players had been more accurate in front of goal.

During the first half, it seemed like a matter of time for Los Culés to find the back of the net, with Ousmané Dembelé, Robert Lewandowski, and Raphinha coming close to opening the score sheet. Nevertheless, two goals during the first 15 minutes of the second half gave Bayern a lead they would not throw away.

Barça tried to bounce back and even had a few chances to do so, but when they seemed to deserve one goal to keep things interesting in the clash, Pedri wasted a massive chance in front of goal that sparked outrage and comments against the midfielder.

The footballer was left all alone inside Bayern's box with only the keeper to beat, and as his shot sailed past Neuer, fans began to celebrate Barcelona's first goal of the evening. This miss gave fans an excuse to mock the Spanish footballer, comparing his awful miss against some of the finest goals of the season...especially those scored by Real Madrid players.

Barcelona will have a chance to bounce back in the competition next month when the competition resumes. Los Culés will have to battle Inter to secure a second place in the group, and fate has paired them up for Matchday 3. Hopefully, Pedri will bring his goalscoring shoes to the Giuseppe Meazza to help his team out.
