Things have been going pretty badly for the Bianconeri on the pitch, and now it looks like things are not going so swimmingly off it, either.

It has been a really terrible start to the season for Juventus, with the Bianconeri struggling both in Serie A and in the Champions League. Unfortunately for Massimiliano Allegri's side, La Vecchia Signora's woes are not just solely on the pitch, with new reports indicating that their finances are not exactly in working order, either.

Recently, a new financial statement from the Turin giants indicated losses of $246.1 million, just a bit shy of a quarter of a billion. That is just for the 2021/22 season, and marks the fifth consecutive year in which Juventus have posted a deficit as opposed to a surplus.

For the past few three years, Juventus have posted total losses of nearly $520 million, so over a half a billion dollars. The latest financial blow now means that Juventus have posted the largest financial deficit in Serie A history, and comes as fans are increasingly calling for Allegri's immediate sacking.

However, that may be a lot easier said than done as not only does he have a contract that runs through June 2025, but also is the highest paid coach in Serie A.

Juventus headed into the international break having suffered a humiliating 1-0 loss to Monza, which means they have won just one of their last five Serie A matches.

In addition, having lost to PSG and Benfica in the Champions League, they are facing another early exit from that competition - something that cost them financially last season as they also exited the Champions League much earlier than expected.
