According to reports from England, the La Liga side, who are currently in Japan gearing up for the FIFA Club World Cup finals against River Plate, are interested in signing Liverpool start Philippe Coutinho.
The Brazilian ace is well-known for his stunning long-range goals, great speed and balance with the ball. Although Barca already boasts of one of the most feared attackers in the world of football, Coutinho is widely seen as a perfect replacement for Neymar, Suarez or Messi should one of them get injured in the line of duty, and for the sake of adding more versatility to the Blaugrana.
The Camp Nou side are reportedly preparing a huge big for the 23-year-old, something that will be quite irresistible for the Anfield side, who are looking to sign new players next summer especially after Jurgen Klopp’s arrival. However, many Liverpool fans on Twitter were saddened by the news that the superstar could be headed to the Camp Nou next summer.
Really hope Coutinho doesn't move to Barcelona, as he our best player and we would be as good without him #LFC
