The Mexican striker has been linked to a move away from Die Werkself given his outstanding form this season.

Mexican striker Javier Hernández arrived practically as an outcast last summer, but he has proven his goal scoring skills in just six months with Bayer Leverkusen. His form made some Premier League sides to follow his performances closely, and with that in mind, the club could be forced to sell the 3-time Player of the Month winner if the right offer gets to the front office.

Bayer's Chief Executive Michael Schade spoke with the Rheinische Post earlier today, and hinted that only a massive bid could force them to sell either Hernández or Kevin Kampl, who have been tempted by top-caliber teams.

"We are a commercial company and there are thresholds. If such exorbitant bids come in, we will examine them and see what they bring us. I can say that for us Kevin Kampl and Hernandez as a package are more important than a single player. If we manage it the same with each transfer, we are strengthening the quality of our squad," Schade stated.

"Chicharito" currently 4th in the Bundesliga scoring charts behind Thomas Müller, Robert Lewandowski and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Hernández has been linked to a move back to the Premier League, as Arsenal & Liverpool have shown interest in signing the former Man United & Real Madrid player. The Mexican striker has scored 21 goals across all competitions, his best tally since he became a professional footballer.
