Spurs coach will be heavily rewarded if his side wins the league this season.

Totteham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is set to receive a huge bonus if the Lillywhites win the Premier League title this season. The Daily Mail reports that the Argentine boss will be given £500,000 as bonus for winning the league title, and an additional £300,000 if the North London club qualifies for the UEFA Champions League.

The English publication also reports that Pochettino’s contract with the White Hart Lane outfit includes a three-layered bonus system based on the exact spot his side finishes inside the top four.

Spurs will book a slot in next season’s Champions League if they beat West Brom on Monday night, but the ultimate goal is to beat the Foxes to the league title. However, whether or not they make it to the top four or league title, the former Southampton boss could still receive a huge pay rise based on his side’s near-perfect performance this season.

With the likes of Manchester United linked with a move for the fan-favorite boss in the summer should they get rid of Louis Van Gaal, the North Londoners will be keen on offering him an improved deal.
