Tottenham welcomed Liverpool to White Hart Lane on Saturday, and although the game was expected to be dominated by the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, and Harry Kane, one man stood out after the first 45 minutes: Michel Vorm.
The first half of the weekend clash saw the Reds test the Spurs goal on a number of occasions, but the north London outfit’s goalkeeper kept his back net safe with a number of key saves.
In one moment of the tie, the Dutch custodian rushed out to meet and rob Sadio Mane of the ball with a brilliant tackle just when the Liverpool attacker appeared set to break the deadlock.
That intervention by the Tottenham shot-stopper was definitely brilliant, a moment of magic summed up perfectly by the picture (below) of both Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino applauding the 32-year-old.
