One of Manchester City's summer signings has handed a massive blow to his team's chances of success, as Ilkay Gündogan's injury has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Reports from Manchester City's training camp have revealed that the team's medical staff expects Gündogan's comeback in the next six to eight months, which will give force Guardiola to adapt his squad for their upcoming matches.

Gündogan has proven to be quite useful during his debut season in the Premier League, which will make him even more difficult to replace.
Gündogan's absence will give Pep Guardiola one more headache to deal with, as the Spanish boss will be without five players for their match against Arsenal. Fabian Delph and Vincent Kompany will be joined by the German ace in the injury list, while Sergio Agüero and Fernandinho continue to serve the bans they picked up during their loss against Chelsea.
