It may not have been pretty, but Barcelona got the job done at Balaídos and added another milestone to their impressive 2017-18 season.
The current La Liga leaders weren't able to win tonight's match against Celta, but kept their unbeaten streak in La Liga unscathed. Because of that fact, Barcelona now owns the single-season record for most games unbeaten since the start of any campaign.
The previous record was owned by Real Sociedad, who went unbeaten for 32 games during the 1979-80 season. Today, Barcelona broke the tie between both historic sides.
With its 2-2 draw at Celta Vigo, Barcelona is now unbeaten in 33 straight matches to start its league season, the longest streak in La Liga history. pic.twitter.com/ckTqByC0OP
