Despite having only recently won the tournament, Sergio Busquets postulates that nothing gets the Catalan faithfuls as excited as the Champions League does.
Barcelona visit Ukraine to take on Shakhtar Donetsk tomorrow in a clash that seems to have ended prematurely after Barcelona won the first leg at home with a staggering score line of 5-1. The Catalans were at their level best on that day and the victory has placed them in a paradisiacal position to progress into the semi finals.

Guardiola's men also visit Madrid this weekend for another edition of the Clasico but Sergio Busquets has dealt a blow towards it by insisting that nothing gets the Barcelona fans as excited as European nights does.

Busquets told uefa.com: "It's the Champions League that really gets the Barcelona fans buzzing. We take the bus to the stadium and see all the people in the streets willing us on.

"It's Champions League nights when our fans roar us on even more, lose their voices, and we really notice it. That's what the Champions League means to me."

Nevertheless, the clash in Ukraine will probably be more like a consolation match for the home side with progress into the semi finals looking rather insurmountable after their terrible mauling at the hands of Barca last week.
