The Norwegian ace has enjoyed a thunderous start of his career at the Premier League, but that does not mean he will stay put there for more years.

All good things must come to an end, and apparently, Erling Haaland's family and the player himself are already thinking about their next move despite the player's amazing start at Manchester City.

Speaking in an interview with DAZN, Haaland's father and former Man City player, Alf-Inge Haaland, admitted that even if his son is having a great time at Manchester City, he could opt to leave the club in search for pastures new if the right offer comes.

"Erling could stay at City for 15 years because he is very happy and we are talking about a huge club. But my impression is that he wants to demonstrate that he can win at any of the big leagues. He was in Germany for two-and-a-half years and he could do something like that in his future," Haaland Sr. stated.

These words by the former footballer should not be taken as a sign of disrespect to the club, and more as a father's opinion on his son's qualities.

"Staying in the Premier League for three years and then going to Italy, Spain or France. There's nothing firm about it, but it's a possibility because Erling is capable of being a winner in any team," Alf-Inge Haaland added.

The Norwegian striker is still under contract with Manchester City until the end of the 2026-27 season, but he has been linked to high-profile moves to Real Madrid or Barcelona. Nevertheless, being under contract might limit any potential move away from Etihad Stadium anytime soon.
