U.S. women’s national team head coach Vlatko Andonovski revealed his 23-player roster that will face Portugal, Jamaica and Nigeria in the Summer Series scheduled for June.

The USWNT will kick off its Summer Series campaign against Portugal on June 10 at BBVA Stadium in Houston, followed by a meeting against CONCACAF rival Jamaica on June 13, also at BBVA Stadium. The Stars and Stripes will then travel to Austin to take on Nigeria on June 16 at Q2 Stadium – MLS’s Austin FC’s new stadium. The USA and Nigeria will be the first teams to play a game at Q2 Stadium.

  • USWNT vs. Portugal (FS1) on Thursday, June 10, at 8:30 p.m. ET
  • USWNT vs. Jamaica (FS1) on Sunday, June 13, at 10 p.m. ET
  • USWNT vs. Nigeria (ESPN2) on Wednesday, June 16, at 9 p.m. ET

USWNT Summer Series roster

The Summer Series roster is made up of 19 National Women’s Soccer League players and four from European clubs. The three-game tournament will mark the final games before Andonovski chooses the final Olympic Team roster for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Games.

Forward Tobin Heat will join the camp as a training player as she continues her rehabilitation from a knee injury suffered during her FA WSL season with Manchester United. Midfielder Julie Ertz will not compete in the Summer Series due to an MCL injury suffered while playing for the Chicago Red Stars in their opening game of the 2021 NWSL season.

The following players will face Portugal, Jamaica and Nigeria in the USA during June.
