Portugal, Spain, Greece, France and England have all qualified to the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Portugal U19 and Spain U19 are arguably the best teams at UEFA Euro Under-19 alongside France U19.In the most exciting game of the day, Portugal and Spain played a 3-3 draw. Real Madrid B striker Jese Rodriguez took his tally to four goals with a hatrick. Jese broke the deadlock after only eight minutes but Sporting Lisbon’s Bruma equalized three minutes later.

Jese responded with another goal before Portugal went level inside the 39th minute through Gomes. Spain wanted to hang on to their precious 3-2 lead after Jese clinched his third goal of the game early in the second period.

However, late drama saw Portugal U19’s defensive midfielder Joao Mario snatch a 91st minute equalizer.

Greece boosted their hopes of reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Euro Under-19 Championship on Friday. They rubbed salt on the hosts' wounds by handing them a 4-1 defeat at the Kadriorg Stadium. Diamantakos netted a late double to nullify the importance of Luigend’s 90th minute strike for the Estonians.

The Greeks are only a point behind Group A leaders Portugal and Spain. They will be looking to leapfrog one of these two group favourites on July 9.

France are through to the semi-finals at the UEFA Euro Under-19 Championship thanks to a narrow win over Croatia. Dimitri Foulquier got the only goal of the match. He scored 11 minutes from time to put the Croatians in trouble.

At the Rakvere stadium, England secured a vital 2-1 win over Serbia. By losing twice on the trot, the latter are out of Euro U19. Meanwhile, to stand a chance of qualifying from Group B, Croatia must beat the Serbians on Day 3 and count on France to defeat England.
