About Ziggo Sport Docu

Ziggo Sport Docu is a Dutch pay-television channel owned by VodafoneZiggo (a joint venture between Vodafone and Liberty Global) and operated by Ziggo. It was launched on November 12, 2015, as part of the package known as Ziggo Sport Totaal, which has included other sports-specific channels over the years.

Ziggo Sport Docu has often aired documentaries and sports-related movies since its launch. It has also been used as an overflow channel for football events whenever Ziggo Sport Voetbal and Ziggo Sport Extra have been already airing live content. 

Ziggo Sport Docu may offer coverage for international events such as the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, the UEFA Women’s Champions League, and the UEFA Youth League, among others. Domestic competitions that may also be covered on this network have included the English Premier League, the Italian Serie A, and the Spanish Primera División, among others.

The channel has been available since its launch in High Definition, although a downscaled version of this feed is available to those users who have not switched to HD technology.

Ziggo Sport Docu Broadcast Rights

	UEFA Champions League (2021-2024) Dutch broadcaster Ziggo Sport has extended its media rights to the UEFA Champions League for three additional seasons, from 2021 to 2024. Ziggo Sport will show all Champions Leagues matches on its television and digital platforms in the Netherlands throughout the period of the deal. Ziggo Sport’s Champions League coverage will include simulcasts, early-kickoff fixtures, match highlights and more. 	Spain - La Liga (2022-2026) Telco company Ziggo has extended its Dutch rights for the Spanish La Liga for three additional seasons. Ziggo’s new agreement with LaLiga lets its linear and digital platforms broadcast La Liga matches live from 2021 through 2024. The Primera Division games will be aired by Ziggo Sport and the pay-TV operator’s OTT subscription streaming service Ziggo Sport Totaal.
