The Premier League returns to action with many points to cover, including the battle between the three top-ranked teams and more games where those fighting for European competitions will leave everything out there.
In what could be a key weekend for the title race, all three teams will have to play away from their homes, leaving everything up in the air despite facing teams that are way behind them. The toughest of these games will feature Liverpool against Manchester United, one game that delivered one of the greatest fixtures of the season in their FA Cup clash.
The battle for the remaining spots in European competitions will also deliver interesting fixtures, with Wolverhampton and West Ham ready to fight for every inch in their clash. Tottenham and Newcastle will also have stellar matches to keep track of, although Spurs may have it a bit easier since they will be playing at home.
When it comes to the relegation battle, Nottingham are one point away from getting Everton very much involved in the drop zone, with Luton and Burnley seeing their chances to stay afloat fading away. Added to that, Sheffield's poor performance could see them being dropped soon, especially if they are unable to find a way out of their current slump.
Here are the main things to keep in mind ahead of this weekend's matches in the Premier League.

Top games to watch
Crystal Palace vs Manchester City - The defending champions want to build up on their midweek victory against Aston Villa while also keeping up with Liverpool and Arsenal. Despite what most may think, this will not be a walk in the park for Guardiola's men, as their first match of the season against Crystal Palace ended 2-2 at the Etihad back in December. The hosts have not won any of their most recent four games, but a win or draw here would surely come in handy to their hopes to get away from the drop zone.

Brighton vs Arsenal - The current second place holders will not have an easy match when they visit Brighton, as the hosts are still fighting for a spot in Europe next season. Roberto De Zerbi's team have lost two of their last four, a run that is overshadowed by the Gunners' streak that includes four wins in their last five. The first match between these teams during the season saw Arsenal claim a 2-0 win, but Arteta's men may struggle to replicate that result.

Manchester United vs Liverpool - The outcome of Sunday's game could be critical for Liverpool, who will try to take advantage of Manchester United's disappointing run that includes three losses in their last five. Despite those numbers, Liverpool have been unable to win in their last two trips to Old Trafford, including a 4-3 loss in the FA Cup less than three weeks ago. Will the Reds get their payback on Sunday, or will the Red Devils finally return to winning ways?
