The battle for the top spot in the league continues with key clashes everywhere. Follow all the action with our detailed broadcast information.

The Premier League returns to action with many points to cover, including the battle between the three top-ranked teams and more games where those fighting for European competitions will leave everything out there.

The top three teams in the competition will be hosting games this week, which may boost their options to claim all the points in their fixtures. Arsenal's match might be the toughest of the three, since they will be the only ones facing a team currently involved to play in Europe next year.

Speaking of those spots, Tottenham will also try to cement their options of a top-four finish. Elsewhere, Manchester United, West Ham, Newcastle, and even Chelsea, will continue their battle for the sixth place in the league, which could also grant access to Europe.

When it comes to the relegation battle, Sheffield seem destined to take the drop, even if they have a game in hand. The real fight seems to be between Nottingham, Luton Town, and Everton, who are only separated by two points.  Out of these teams, the Tricky Trees will be the only ones hosting their game this week, while Everton and Luton will get to face rivals currently on the upper half of the table.

Here are the main things to keep in mind ahead of this weekend's matches in the Premier League.

Top games to watch

Manchester City vs Luton Town - The defending champions get back to Etihad Stadium for a tough outing against Luton, who are also dealing with a battle of their own to avoid relegation. Guardiola's team will enter this game having won their last two games and being unbeaten in their last four, while Luton claimed a major win for their cause in the last game against Bournemouth. Both of their meetings this season have ended in wins for Manchester City, and it seems rather logical to see them adding one more to their tally on Saturday.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace - The Reds return to the Premier League following a woeful performance against Atalanta in the Europa League. Now, with the title at stake, Klopp's men cannot afford to drop points since they are level with Arsenal, but the Gunners have an edge over them in terms of goalscoring average. On the other side of the pitch, Crystal Palace are only five points away from the drop zone, which means they need to collect at least a point to keep calm ahead of the final stretch of the season. Liverpool have won eight of their last ten matches against Palace, including a 2-1 victory during their first match of the season. Is that a sign of things to come?

Arsenal vs Aston Villa - The Gunners now know that the title is theirs to win, and they will want to avoid any setbacks when they welcome Aston Villa. With four wins out of their last five EPL games, it seems like Arteta's men have the upper hand over the Villains, who are winless in their last two league matches. Even so, Arteta may need a bit more drive to lead his team to victory, as Aston Villa and Emery defeated them in their first match of the season back in December (1-0).
