Man United and Arsenal returned to winning ways while Crystal Palace recorded a shock 3-2 win at the Etihad Stadium.

Round 18 in the Premier League is done and dusted, with two of the top-six sides suffering setbacks ahead of the festive period. They are Chelsea and Man City, as both of them fell to unexpected home defeats.

The Blues were undone by Leicester, as a Jamie Vardy strike condemned them to a 1-0 defeat. As for the Citizens, they suffered a shocker against Crystal Palace, losing 3-2 at the Etihad.

Arsenal ends their awful Premier League run

While Unai Emery's side had gone 22 games unbeaten, Arsenal never led at half-time in the Premier League in their opening 17 games. Fortunately, that awful run came to an end in their 18th game, against Burnley, as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's opening goal gave them a 1-0 advantage heading into the break. The Gabonese forward would go on to score another and return to the top of the goalscorers chart.
